Hi everyone!

Mods here with general announcements. Activity Check is up and will be a standard AC! Responses are due by 11:59pm pst on February 7. Please let us know if you need an exemption for any reason!

The TDM is up for this month as well. Apps are open from 12:00am pst on February 8 to 11:59pm on February 14, and placements/an intro event are on the 15th as soon as apps are all processed.

Tomorrow afternoon/evening, Youji will be running some guided monster threads in the current event. The Alien is running a trauma trial on February 9 at 4pm, which should last 3-4 hours. The Hermit is running a non-trauma trial on February 17, which should go for 3 hours. As a note please remember we've switched the name of Links to Bonds and, unintentionally, Trial has stuck as lingo for Games, so we'll make that all nice and official as well.

Finally, in this post we're having our first Ideas Jam! This is basically the modteam asking for your input on events for the future. Please use this post to tell us which events/games so far have been your favorites/least favourites and what kind of events/games you super want to play with. This can be status effects or something more complicated. Are you itching to see the Prince? Do you want a sexy mingle? Would you kill to get your character zombified? Or do you just want to have a pillow fight? We're aware we've had a lot of trauma recently so there should be some downtime this month, but please let us know if it's been too much or the right amount of crazy for you.

You can also use this opportunity to give general game feedback if you feel something needs to be addressed by the mods or discussed by the playerbase. Thank you, and as always if you have any game questions please direct them to the q&a!

MORE OF A MECHANIC SUGGESTION THAN AN EVENT: Would it be possible to add private memory shares as something that can be purchased with sparks, for if a character wanted to share a memory with a friend/teammate without actually projecting it on the main screen? Maybe after a character buys their two tokens for a private memory, they could put one of the tokens in their friend's Chain to have the memory play out on the screen for an automatic charge of XXX sparks? (I feel like something that would work for in-the-moment decisions would be better than the characters actually having to purchase a memoryshare from the sparks shop, since sharing memories can often be an emotional thing and having to like, [WELL LET'S HEAD TO THE GROCERY STORE I GUESS] could break the flow of the thread, haha.)

So each regained private memory would have 1-2 shares automatically (depending on whether both tokens could be used for sharing or it had to be like, "one for me and one for my friend") and then any other re-shares WOULD have to actually be manually purchased from the sparks shop. I just know I've always loved sharable memories in the past, so I thought it would be fun and encourage TRUST!! and BONDING!! to have an in-between option instead of only fully private or fully public options.

ok my 2 cents

- i think the games so far have been great! but i especially enjoy that teams, even in closed rooms, have been paired up. i realise this is likely due to a size thing and ofc we will probably need some [X TEAM ONLY ROOM] type games, but i wanted to say that this format has worked really, really well thus far in terms of getting rooted in cr. not that i think they ALL should be in the future, but just that what you've done thus far has worked great and made it feel very inclusive for the start of a game.

- that said, i think bonding events within team AND outside of team would be a good idea. however, this probably doesn't need to be limited to mod events? i'm sure players could plot out something that would work as well. honestly something even like [your character is now stuck with a HELLO MY NAME IS _____ ASK ME ABOUT _____ sticker and cannot remove it] filled in with goofy/embarrassing answers would work.

- so far my fav was the murder mystery, but they've all been fun

Mainly I'd like to see more mingles that take place between games, more teamposts, etc.
