Your character wakes up in a neat bedroom in their team carriage, in nondescript underwear. They might be missing their memories, or their special abilities, or they may just feel a little queasy. Next to them is what seems to be a smartphone, which they know how to use even if they never had before, even if they don't know if they have before. On the screen is a simple message:

Welcome aboard the Aurora!

You have been selected by the Star Prince as a potential hero, tasked with saving the universe from Malice. As a passenger I, your Construct and Conductor, will attempt to provide you with quality lodgings and safety. In return, we ask that you join your fellows in making bonds and doing your utmost to bring joy back to the Stars.

Due to the process of restoring your body, you may find some things are missing. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to return them to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

Upon investigation, you'll find some basic clothes matching your team's theme in the storage provided in your room. Or, perhaps, you're wandering out of the room still undressed. Either way, downstairs you'll find someone has left a tray of cups of hot tea on the living room table. Drinking it may be simply pleasant, or it may cause you to feel a sudden need to warm up to the others in your carriage -- emotionally or physically. Welcome to the team, newbie!

Shortly after your arrival, you find yourself wrapped up in some monster NPC's Game. You're inside what appears to be a stone temple, with a massive golden scale on one wall. Suddenly, on one side, a heavy metal weight is dropped. As the scales tip out of balance, the floor begins to slowly disappear, brick by brick, ready to drop you -- and whoever is with you -- into an abyss. Your only hope comes in the form of an inscription on the altar:

How much do your secrets weigh?

Every secret you tell causes a weight to fall onto the other side of the scale. The bigger the secret, the bigger the weight. If you can collectively tip the scales, the floor will quit dropping bricks and a door will appear to allow you back to the train. If you can't, you'll fall, seemingly forever, til you pass out. When you wake up you'll find yourself unable to lie.

★ Three
You've been on the Aurora for a while, but this is the first time you've ever seen.... well. ...There is a crab following you around. It's a cute, small crab and it will not stop singing. You cannot escape it. The crab is everywhere, no matter where you go. No matter how far you run, no matter how you try to escape it. Helpfully, there is a message on your Chain that says the crab will leave you alone if you make a new friend.

What do you do?

[Itsuki comes out of a room after dressing himself real nice and he sees the tea. Then stops and looks it over, then stands over it and just gives it a sniff, recoiling in disgust.]

O-oh... Oh, it's leaf water! I mean tea. Tea is what people call it. Ah, what a kind gesture... I'm allergic to tea, though. Thank you though, whoever um, offered?

[He will not dump it out but he will definitely not be drinking any, sorry. He will offer cuddles if YOU need it though?]

["How much do your secrets weigh?" Well! Time to panic! Itsuki clearly has secrets. So many secrets. He's just not sure if life and living is worth giving them up! Sure he might die and that'd suck but it's better than honesty!!!

So he's going to look to you.]

H-hahaha... so uh. What secrets you got?

[There is a crab following him. The cuteness of the crab itself is debatable, but Itsuki seems endeared, even with it singing. Why does it sing? How does it sing? These are questions an eldritch abomination living in the skull of a human man does not have. He's just going to kind of enjoy this nonhuman company.

Thank goodness for sea creatures.

...If I make the crab my friend, do you think that'd count? Must I keep it at an arm's length in order to continue to enjoy it's presence...?

[ Crow is not by nature very fond of sharing his secrets. He's got more than a few himself, albiet likely less than an eldritch abomination but that's just how things go sometimes. For his part, he shrugs at the question. ]

[Well, this is new. Rantaro can't help but be a little suspicious- after all, waking up in a strange place with people you don't know is usually bad news- but this letter is far from threatening. So he gets dressed, grabs the smartphone he woke up with, and heads out of the room...

Huh. These people sure don't seem too worried. He opens his mouth, but... Barely anything comes out. Still. At least this phone thing comes with a messenger app...

[The crab wasn't too bad at first. It wasn't doing any harm, and a few times he even tried to sing along. However, the crab overstayed its welcome soon enough, and there aresesome places he does not want to be serenaded by sealife.

He's not too impressed by the message on his Chain, either. What is this, a non-lethal motive? At least this train's MO was "make love, not war," so he has less qualms about picking up the little crab and bringing it to someone he doesn't usually talk to.

Surely, someone might appreciate the gift of crab.]

Beck hugs the sheets around him, wide-eyed, then soon finds the message. Huh. This made zero sense. Him, a potential hero? Oh, it's something he could imagine and he did not want to be seen as a villain any longer... but somebody actually offering? Did he die again? Was this a cruel joke in hell? Restoring your body... That did sound like that could be the case.

He doesn't like this.

And he doesn't put on the clothes yet, not seeing them in his urge to find an exit. He wanders downstairs, wrapped in a sheet and wishing for his costume. He soon finds the tea but no way is he going to just try to drink that... It seems like a trap. A poisonous trap.

No, that was done by the Prince who rules this train- or rather, if you believe his account, it is a side effect of the process he uses to retrieve us. I did think he provided some garments of his own design, though... Did you not receive them?
