Trial Announcement!

I will be running a Paired Trauma Trial! Because that's a fun way to pass a pandemic, right.

While death and maiming is not a guarantee, both are options of what can happen.

Trial will be running from April 11th, Saturday. 7:00PM CST to end at April 16th, Thursday. 5:00 PM CST.

Obviously I need to sleep during some of that, but I'm willing to murder my sleep schedule a bit because of what I need from you guys.

Everyone will be running through this trial with a partner. People can sign up for random partners, but if at all possible, I would like people to sign up with a partner. Why?

Because I want these pairs to be negative CR. At the very least someone who has conflicting views with, or some disagreement. Partners should be looking at the other and going 'ugh, why do I have to work with THEM' if at all possible.

Because nothing like emotional conflict when you might die.

If there's an odd number, I'll throw in Dusk, I just won't score him since there's a little subjectivity on my part.

Don't think this blue kid has managed to make any negative CR as of yet. Someone stuffy or strict would probably make for the most difficult if that helps.

I can play anytime around 6pm to 2am CST/4pm to 12am PST. My sleep schedule has been totally effed by the current RL situation, so whoever my partner is just needs to let me know their preferred times and I'll make sure I'm awake then to play.

Signing up Loki and he can probably get on almost anyone's nerves. My schedule's also pretty flexible, any day after 8 pm CST.

I'm just throwing in Felix and Roxas. I have no idea what negative CR either has.

I can usually play anytime Saturday and from 7 PM EST - 12 AM EST Mon-Thurs.

I can do anytime Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday if it's before 6pm CST. For the rest of the week, I can do between 6pm CST and midnight.

Signing up Pen; he can be pretty irritating, since he tends to come off as weird on account of a chaos spirit living in his body, and the whole 'priest of god of balancing the scales'

Also Aphra/Cat. If you need someone more straight-laced to partner with someone less so, go for it. She also doesn't suffer arrogance much. Sunday, Monday or Tuesday evenings work for me.

Yeah, sure. I haven't done a trial but I can see about throwing him into one because why not.

7 PM EST - 12 AM EST would be my five hour time frame throughout the entirety of all this.

Any time is fine with me, I can adjust as necessary! She’s naturally a bit abrasive so she’ll probably at least annoy anyone a little with her eccentric, condescending attitude.

I don't want to beg for spoilers or anything, so I'll make this as generic as I can.

Could a pure mortal without any particular specialties survive this trial or would it be pretty difficult? Just not sure if I want to throw Klarion in there if he's all but guaranteed to die.

Abilities of people have no bearing on injuries or death save cases of extreme creativity, but it's not built into prewriting. Consequences will come as a result of choices made during the trial (unless someone goes real off the rails on purpose, in which case that's improv consequences.) It's entirely possible for someone with no powers to get through with no serious harm.

Once you have discussed best time to do a run with your partner, sign up here. I can do more than one run at once, though try not to have everyone go at the same time if possible.

Also sign up with the start time as CST just so I don't mess up my alarms because I converted wrong.

Saturday at 8:00 to 9:00 PM CST start time.
