Trial Announcement!

I will be running a Paired Trauma Trial! Because that's a fun way to pass a pandemic, right.

While death and maiming is not a guarantee, both are options of what can happen.

Trial will be running from April 11th, Saturday. 7:00PM CST to end at April 16th, Thursday. 5:00 PM CST.

Obviously I need to sleep during some of that, but I'm willing to murder my sleep schedule a bit because of what I need from you guys.

Everyone will be running through this trial with a partner. People can sign up for random partners, but if at all possible, I would like people to sign up with a partner. Why?

Because I want these pairs to be negative CR. At the very least someone who has conflicting views with, or some disagreement. Partners should be looking at the other and going 'ugh, why do I have to work with THEM' if at all possible.

Because nothing like emotional conflict when you might die.

I don't want to beg for spoilers or anything, so I'll make this as generic as I can.

Could a pure mortal without any particular specialties survive this trial or would it be pretty difficult? Just not sure if I want to throw Klarion in there if he's all but guaranteed to die.

Abilities of people have no bearing on injuries or death save cases of extreme creativity, but it's not built into prewriting. Consequences will come as a result of choices made during the trial (unless someone goes real off the rails on purpose, in which case that's improv consequences.) It's entirely possible for someone with no powers to get through with no serious harm.
